Using Vice Markets
Vice Markets provides a website for creating and interacting with blockchain tokens. This notice describes the data used by the website and its integrations. Connecting a wallet does not provide us with your private key or seed phrase. Never enter either into this website.
Information processed
When you connect a wallet, the app receives the public wallet address you choose to share. It uses that address to read public token balances, launches, and claimable fees. The app keeps the connected address in browser memory for the session.
Coin creation uses the name, ticker, image, description, social links, creator fee address, and launch settings you submit. Image uploads require a signed, short-lived message to demonstrate control of your wallet. Upload messages bind your wallet to an image hash and expire after five minutes. Rate-limit counters and cached upload hashes are held in server memory for up to one hour.
Requests to the website, RPC providers, and image gateways can disclose your IP address, request time, browser information, and requested resource to the infrastructure operators. Blockchain RPC requests can include public wallet addresses and transaction hashes. Wallet software operates under its own privacy terms.
Public and permanent information
We store an index of public token metadata, pool snapshots, trade events, public wallet addresses appearing in those trades, and sync checkpoints in a Neon Postgres database. These records persist across server restarts and let the website display saved data while blockchain updates run. Private keys and wallet signatures are not stored in this index.
Blockchain transactions, wallet addresses, token contracts, on-chain metadata, and financial activity are public. Anyone may copy or analyze them. We cannot delete confirmed transactions or change immutable contract data.
Uploaded coin images are pinned using Pinata to IPFS. IPFS content is addressed by its content hash and can be copied or retained by others even if a pin is later removed. Do not upload confidential information, personal documents, or an image you do not want made public.
Local browser storage
Your watchlist is saved locally in your browser under vice-watchlist. It is used to remember coins you selected and is not sent to a watchlist service. Clear the site’s browser storage to remove it. The application currently includes no advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.
Service providers and external links
The app uses blockchain infrastructure, hosting infrastructure, and Neon Postgres and Pinata/IPFS to deliver its functions. Opening external links, including Blockscout, Fandom, or X, sends a request to that site and subjects that interaction to its policies. Loading a remote coin image contacts its image host.
Retention and choices
You may browse without connecting a wallet. Disconnecting removes the app’s current wallet connection state; it does not delete public blockchain activity or necessarily revoke permissions in your wallet. Review token allowances directly in your wallet when you want to revoke spending approvals.
Upload challenges expire after five minutes. Rate limits expire after one hour. These temporary values are not a permanent account database. Public blockchain data and publicly replicated IPFS content have no deletion guarantee.
